Get to know Ed Fox
Most FOX IV customers know Ed Fox. If they haven’t worked with him directly, they’ve at least heard his name. As one of our long-standing Sales Directors, Ed has been a cornerstone of the FOX IV team since 2003. His specialty - digging into customer labeling challenges, understanding the real-world demands behind them, and transforming those needs into successful, reliable labeling applications.With more than 20 years in the industry, Ed says the excitement hasn’t faded one bit.
"When a system we design or install improves a customer’s process, increases throughput, and meets customer requirements, I get excited. If the customer is happy—that’s what it’s all about.”
For Ed, every project brings something new. “Every one is tremendous. We do stuff that no one else does. It’s exciting and never gets stale.”
Over the years, he’s watched the packaging and labeling world evolve at a rapid pace. Technologies have advanced, expectations have risen, and automation has become smarter and more connected.
“The packaging industry is constantly evolving. Every machine manufacturer is always looking to do better—make equipment faster and easier to use. We now have smart conveyors, dimensioning cameras, advanced sensors, and new connectivity options. All of it is designed to benefit the end user.”
Ed is based in Texas, where he lives with his wife. When he’s not helping customers optimize their operations, you’ll find him fishing, relaxing at the beach, or spending time on or near the water—his favorite place to recharge.
