Career
When FOX IV was conceptualized and created, President Rick Fox knew that engineering would be key to the company's success. Bob Ekis was one of FOX IV's original engineering team members. After 28 years and many projects later, Bob is retiring.
"FOX IV has always been a great place to work. There were many great people to work with over the years. It was wonderful having a job that I enjoyed doing with a variety of challenges and feeling that I accomplished something."
When asked about his biggest accomplishment, Bob noted that he has worked on many projects, each with its own challenges. He stated, "I can not think of any one project as my biggest accomplishment over the years - there were so many. Throughout the design of custom equipment, product development, and customer orders, it was always nice to have many coworkers in manufacturing, field service, and the machine shop to share ideas with before and during projects."
Future Plans
So what does retirement hold for Bob?
In addition to home improvement projects, Bob plans to travel and explore some new hobbies.
"I want to build a model autonomous vehicle, continue to exercise, and get into trap shooting. I also want to plan a trip to Ireland and Scotland within the next 2 years."
Everyone at FOX IV wishes the best for Bob and his family in his retirement. We will miss him!
Congratulations, Bob! Enjoy your retirement.
