Painless RFID Implementation in Real-World Environments

Leave it to an RFID pioneer to make your transition easy.

FOX IV introduced the world's first RFID label printer applicator in 2002 and the world's first fully integrated, FCC-B compliant label printer applicator in 2004, combining FOX IV's popular Uniwall LPA system with Printronix EPC RFID Smart encoding technology.

Today's equipment features FOX IV's Dead Tag Management system. It is fully expandable and upgradeable as well as rugged enough for harsh industrial environments and 24/7 operation.

Encode & apply while leaving any and all "dead tags" on the liner. The 1oooe series features FOX IV's popular Uniwall design and a 360° rotatable user interface.

With current technology, RFID labels have a significant failure rate prior to ever being loaded into the applicator. Assuming 5% of all your RFID tags are "dead" when applied and your line produces 20 cartons per minute or 9600 cartons for one 8-hour shift, your 5% failure rate equals 480 cartons per shift.

Identifying and retagging 2400 cartons per week can get expensive.

FOX IV solved the problem. Keep the "dead tags" where they belong - on the liner.

Additional features include extended cylinder options up to 32 inches and available enclosures for extreme dust, temperature and wash-down environments.
